Description

Sigrún Hjálmtýsdóttir, also known as Diddú, sings songs composed by Icelandic immigrants of the New World, accompanied by the wind sextett Drengirnir ("the Boys").  Enclosed is a booklet with short biographies of the composers in Icelandic and English.  It also contains the original Icelandic lyrics with English translations.  The booklet can also be viewed here.
